This year’s St. Stephen's Day fireworks display, which was rescheduled to 27 August due to the uncertain weather was one of the highlights of the summer again. The spectacular show recounted the great moments of Hungarian history through the dream of a young child, with 40,000,000 pyrotechnic effects and 600 drones to dazzle the audience. Based on figures, both the four-day event and the fireworks display had a noticeable tourism impact. Over the weekend of 20 August, 104,000 guest nights were reserved in Budapest, while hundreds of thousands of visitors watched the show on location on 27 August.
