Live music and picnic vibes: discover the Szabadrét Festival

Electronic and live music, and lots of fun in a natural setting with a cosy picnic atmosphere. As part of the St. Stephen’s Day celebrations, the Szabadrét Festival awaits visitors from early afternoon until the evening for 3 days.

On the occasion of St. Stephen’s Day, the organisers will be hosting special concerts for young people on Elisabeth Square.

Both fans of electronic and live music will be cared for at the Szabadrét Festival, with programmes including performers from the Hungarian popular music scene, DJs playing exciting sets, gifie photography (a fully automated, drone-controlled photo booth), silent disco or headphone party, dance show with LED lights and party make-up creation. But those who would rather just sit down on Elisabeth Square and have a nice picnic shouldn’t worry either, as the atmosphere, the varied concerts and the stunning decorations are a great way to relax.

The Szabadrét Festival particularly emphasises upbeat, trendy music that will get both the young and not-so-young moving. For lovers of electronic music, it will be a special treat to meet well-known DJs who are guaranteed to get the party started. There will also be live music from young musical talents to add to the festive atmosphere, so everyone can find a tune close to their heart.

However, the festival will not only be about music and programmes, as visitors can also expect a delicious culinary experience. Street food stalls, refreshing drinks and tasty snacks will keep the energy levels up for a fun-filled party.
