Music with a view – the Panorama Classical is back in the Philosophers’ Garden

Between 18 and 20 August, the Panorama Classical programme series is once again awaiting lovers of classical music with free chamber performances, major concerts and hands-on musical encounters on Gellért Hill.

The Philosophers’ Garden is once again turned into a musical experience centre, where visitors can listen to performances by invited ensembles from dawn to dusk. This all takes place in an environment of perfect comfort, where people can sit on beanbag chairs and soft blankets, under the cosy glow of lantern lights, providing for a real collective musical experience.

The open stage of Panorama Classical is designed to allow the audience to admire the artists and the panorama of Buda – the Castle, the Parliament Building and St. Stephen’s Basilica – at the same time.

In addition to listening to concerts on Gellért Hill, there will also be an opportunity for young and old to get a hands-on experience with musical instruments and learn about the tricks of making them.

Hungary’s classical music scene is an unrivalled treasure worth discovering during your festive adventures.
