Charlie
His first solo album, Charlie, was released in the spring of 1994. The album went gold, then platinum, and won the “Album of the Year” award in the MAHASZ Aranyzsiráf poll the following year. In 1994, after some festival concerts, he gave two fantastic concerts at the Budapest Convention Centre before Christmas.
On 28 December 1995 he played in the Budapest Sports Hall, then, on 17 August next year he and his band gave a really hot concert in front of approximately 20,000 fans in the fully packed Kisstadion.
In 1998 he was awarded the Small Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.
His success has been unbroken for more than 20 years, his songs and hits have entertained generations at concerts.
