Neoton Família

Neoton was founded by László Pásztor in 1965. Their first song was “Kell, hogy várj” (You must wait for me). In 1974, the Kócbabák girls joined in to form the “Neoton és a Kócbabák” group, an ensemble playing vocal pop music.

The first album, “Menedékház” (Shelter), was released in 1976 and was followed by 34 others. Since 1977 they have been known as the Neoton Família. In 1979 came the big success, with Toshiba EMI, RCA, Movieplay and Bond Music releasing their albums, which went on to conquer the world. In 1983, Éva Csepregi and Ádám Végvári won the Yamaha Festival Grand Prix on behalf of Neoton Família. They toured in Japan, South Korea and Spain, in addition to the surrounding countries. They have sold 7 million records worldwide.

Their songs are still alive, as they are played on the radio and the group still performs today with Éva Csepregi, János Baracs and Ádám Végvári. They are joined on stage by musicians Andi Lukács, Laci Lukács, Dávid Heatlie and Sanyi Patyi, as well as vocalists Ildi Faith and Erika Gulyás.
