Pannonia boat exhibition

The Pannónia, recently restored to its original state, is a day trip ship built in 1927, which recalls the peacetime atmosphere of Danube navigation.

The ship bearing the VINTAGE emblem has interiors reminiscent of the style of the 1900s. It is characterised by archaising, but modern, art deco style furnishings. The use of quality materials known in the heyday of Danube shipping, such as copper railings and door handles, solid wood coverings and glass decorations, are echoed on all decks. As part of the Saint Stephen’s Day event, guests arriving on board can also visit an exhibition commemorating the 150th anniversary of the commissioning of the iconic warship Lajta. During the celebrations, visit the Pannónia ship in front of the Parliament Building and learn about the history of the Lajta Monitor museum ship.
