DUNA FERGETEGES (DANUBE MAGNIFICENT)
The programme consists of choreographies presenting and exploring the authentic folk dances of the Carpathian Basin. The performance is loosely structured, evoking different moods and impressions of the diversity of peasant dance culture.
One of the main characteristics of our traditional dance culture is virtuosity. The skills presentation, solo and partner dances of our different regions all have elements that are require a dynamic stance or outstanding dancing skills. Our show titled Danube Magnificent is a selection of some of the most spectacular and virtuoso choreographies from recent folk dance performances.
